The iPod is ringing

With Apple’s newest feature rolling out to the public, I thought I would let everyone know a little bit about what Apple’s done with their Iphone ringtones.

Any Apple user can now create there own personalized and fully customizable ringtones. The best thing about it is once you download ringtones you’ve made you can export it straight to Itunes. To utilize this feature you will need to make sure a few things are up to date, starting with Itunes. You will need version 7.5 or better and you will also need Iphone software version 1.1.2. I think the only downside to this is your downloaded ringtones can only be forty seconds in length.

If you are wondering how to run your downloaded ringtones, it’s rather simple. Once you have exported the ringtone to Itunes it is automatically synced with your Iphone. Then it’s just a matter of choosing your favorite ringtone and setting it as your ringer.
